You  are on a quest to reclaim the frozen Donkey Kong Island from the invading Snowmads. Master Donkey Kong’s ground pound and each of his buddy’s unique abilities to navigate diverse island environments like Mangrove swamps, Savannah storms, ocean depths, and the frozen lands of Donkey Kong Island.

 You'll be enjoying a 2-D platformer with a tangible rhythmic quality to it that is very satisfying, with controls so tight you can bounce a quarter off the game and make change. You'll be collecting red balloons, banana coins, and literally hundreds upon hundreds of bananas. KONG levels and puzzle pieces are hidden cleverly in the levels. Mine carts return to turn you into a sweat-drenched, adrenaline-drained husk.

 The controls are very responsive, the game looks amazing, the levels are beautiful and challenging for adults, but so much fun for your pre-schooler at the basic levels.

The music is fantastic, best of all, this game sees the return of David Wise, the brilliant composer behind the original Donkey Kong Country trilogy's incredible music. Remember the unspeakably awesome atmosphere of songs like "Aquatic Ambiance" and "Stickerbrush Symphony?" This game has songs of that caliber

The Not So Good Features of Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze

A big complaint with the game is that Dixie Kong is overpowered. While playing through the game, you get the choice of playing with Diddy, Dixie or Cranky in addition to Donkey Kong. Cranky is sometimes useful as he can attack underwater and jump through spikes, but Diddy is useless since his jetpack will let you float, but Dixie's hair will let you both float AND fly upwards. This makes Diddy obselete since there is nothing he does that Dixie doesn't do better. There is no point in him being in the game

Woolly World is the spiritual successor of Epic Yarn. This is a family friendly game which includes moving platforms, boss battles, hub worlds, lava stages, ice stages and so many more fun stages. There are two difficulty levels and you can switch difficulty at any time (even in the middle of the level). The levels are the same either way. It's just if you change to mellow mode your Yoshi’s can float fly forever which gives you a way to avoid falling to death and sometimes to skip whole parts of a level.

Everything is made out of yarn, felt, and cotton balls. Backdrops are obviously hanging fabric, buttons are everywhere, and balls of yarn littler the landscapes You feel as though you can reach out and grab your Yoshi’s as the graphics are amazing. There are so many cool ways to use the yarn.

The Yoshi Woolly story involves Kamek turning the Yoshis into yarn and scattering them throughout the worlds. Green Yoshi must retrieve all the yarn to turn them back into their regular Yoshi selves. The game is split into worlds and levels much like Yoshi's Island. You can collect beads (which replace coins) to get badges that will help Yoshi on his way and once you collect all 5 yarn balls from any given level, you'll be able to use a new Yoshi!

Pre Schoolers will initially need the help of a parent or sibling at points even with mellow mode. Mellow mode or not, you can take these levels at your own pace.

Yoshi's Woolly World  is also available with a Yarn Bundle, this is where you will be able to unravel their secrets and color or your worlds with a variety of yarn balls.

RabbidsLand Wii U

Rabbidsland is on of the most popular Wii U games for pre preschoolers, this is where the Rabbids are now taking over an amusement park and they plan to make the most of their day by invading all of the attractions.

 Rabbids will make a mess out of everything with  the lighthearted humor in this game, the Rabbids make it enjoyable for you kids- see them overrun rides and turn them upside down, or scream at a souvenir shop before instigating chaos at an overpriced themed restaurant.

Funky Barn is a great Wii U games for preschoolers, this is based on FarmVille which is a very successful Facebook game.

This is the ultimate farming game for your preschooler, they will learn so many lesson on how to run a farm, from growing crops, to building barns, to shearing sheep and it is so easy with the Wii U game-pad as the preschoolers don't have to mess with the controllers.

 The graphics are amazing with the Wii U, the farm and fields are so clear, it makes you feel right there.Its a fun game, that also includes weather conditions. make sure to put the animals in the bard in the rain, but not in the thunder storm. look! a tornado..... get into the barn fast.

Disney has another great game with Wii U for Pre-Schoolers and that is Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two.
